So when you go to http://blogsearch.google.com and type in kidsearch one of the results on the first page is a story I posted to the blog about myspace.com and sexual predators. That result leads to http:// www. mymyblackteen. com a porn website. DO not go there if it offends you.

But here is what the guy put into the source code.

Well, I have already contacted a lot of people like webhosts he uses and his domain name registrar, etc.

What I would like to do is have as many people as will do it go to http://www.learnanddoit.com and ask this pervert if he recommends this SEO technique to everyone . . . or whatever you would like to tell him. Oh and the rumors that Pankaj Saini is a Pedophile may not be true.

The preventative measures that MySpace has come up with and the NCMEC supports are ridiculously oversimplified and will not stop predators from having access to underage teens and children.

A predator can buy a MySpace blog on Ebay. Click here to search ebay for a myspace account. As of the writing of this article, there is one on sale with 10,000 friends signed up to it. How many of those 10,000 friends are under age 18, under age 14?

Besides that, age restrictions will not stop kids from getting someone older to create the account for them or just lying about their age.

Pedophiles will get someone younger to create the account or lie about their age as they already do with the children they talk to. Or they will just do the ebay search I mentioned above and buy an account already registered to someone younger than them.

Should those who commit sex offences against children ever be released?

They were been abducted, chained in a dungeon, repeatedly raped, and left to starve. Two teenagers were taken the same year, and after similar treatment are thought to have been buried alive.

Two other girls were eventually rescued. The man who abducted all six, Mark Dutroux, was sentenced to life in prison.

What shocked many people was the fact that Dutroux had already been convicted in 1989 for abduction and rape of five girls and sentenced to 13 years in prison, but was released after just three years.

Remarks: Victor and Beatrice Gonzalez, who may be illegal aliens, worked at a beef plant in Liberal, Kansas, during the mid 1990s. During their employment, it is possible that they used false identities. They may also have a brown 2-door car with beige interior. Additionally, Victor Gonzalez may wear a mustache.

CAUTION
An unknown Hispanic male, who uses the alias Victor Gonzalez, along with an unknown Hispanic female, who uses the alias Beatrice Gonzalez, are wanted for committing crimes in Texas. On April 18, 2003, a woman was allegedly kidnapped from a storage facility in Dumas, Texas, by Victor and Beatrice Gonzalez. Victor Gonzalez allegedly bound and beat the female victim, then drove her several hours to an undetermined location, where she was turned over to a third accomplice. After which, Victor Gonzalez and his male accomplice drove the victim to Juarez, Mexico, allegedly assaulting her during the drive. The victim, who suffered injuries to her eyes, head, wrists, and legs, escaped 3 days after her ordeal began by sneaking out of a Mexican hospital.

On August 27, 2003, Victor and Beatrice Gonzalez were indicted by a Texas federal grand jury, United States District Court, Northern District of Texas, on kidnapping, conspiracy to commit kidnapping, and aiding and abetting charges. Additionally, the Gonzalezes' accomplice was convicted of his crimes and imprisoned.

REWARD: The FBI is offering a $5,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of Victor Gonzalez.

CAUTION
David John Sprong, Jr., a convicted felon and registered sex offender in the state of California, is wanted on multiple molestation charges related to the alleged molestation of young girls. On March 17, 2006, a complaint was filed in the Superior Court of California, County of Sacramento, and a warrant was issued alleging that Sprong failed to appear for trial. He was to be remanded to custody during a March 17, 2006, pre-trial hearing meant to consolidate multiple molestation charges against Sprong and to add a life enhancement for multiple victims by a habitual sex offender. Sprong was free on bond having previously been charged with multiple counts of digital penetration, oral copulation, and fondling of female minors. A federal arrest warrant charging Sprong with unlawful flight to avoid prosecution was issued on March 22, 2006, in the Eastern District of California, Sacramento, California.

Remarks: Back has been known to travel to Indianapolis and New Albany, Indiana; Dayton, Columbus, and Cincinnati, Ohio; Chicago, Illinois; Kentucky and Tennessee. He is known to frequent gambling venues such as casinos and river boats.

CAUTION

On October 28, 2005, Warren Lee Back and an accomplice robbed a bank in Cincinnati, Ohio, carrying a handgun, wearing masks, and demanding the tellers empty their cash drawers. Both men, as well as another accomplice acting as a lookout outside the bank, were later apprehended following a vehicle and foot chase. Back and one accomplice posted bond the next day and were released from custody.

On November 1, 2005, a federal arrest warrant was issued for all three individuals by the United States District Court, Southern District of Ohio, for armed bank robbery. Both accomplices were taken into federal custody, while Back has remained a fugitive since being released on bond.

Back is also wanted for questioning in connection with several other robberies of banks in the Cincinnati area and check cashing stores in New Albany, Indiana, and Columbus and Dayton, Ohio, since posting bond.

On May 16, 2006, state bench warrants were issued for Back's arrest for failing to appear to face charges of aggravated robbery, weapons under disability, and failure to obey the order of a police officer. These charges relate to the October bank robbery in Cincinnati.

Additional state arrest warrants for Back had been filed on January 24, 2006, for failure to appear for a hearing to face charges, including carrying a concealed weapon. These charges relate to a robbery that occurred prior to the October bank robbery.

The FBI is offering a reward of up to $25,000 for information leading directly to the arrest of Warren Lee Back.

Adreanna Jackson was last seen leaving her residence in the Tillicum area of Lakewood, Washington, on the morning of December 2, 2005. At approximately 7:45 a.m., Jackson left her home to walk to school, but never arrived. Additionally, the school had been closed for the day due to a snow storm.

On April 5, 2006, law enforcement authorities confirmed that human remains found in a vacant lot in Pierce County, Washington, were indeed those of Adreanna Jackson.

On Friday, May 9, 2003, Ahmed Elsafi picked up his two children in Miami, Florida for a scheduled visitation. Elsafi failed to return the children to their mother as scheduled on May 11, 2003.

Elsafi's ex-wife reported Elsafi to local law enforcement authorities in Miami, Florida on May 14, 2003. Elsafi's ex-wife subsequently filed for and received a temporary sole custody order for the children.

Elsafi was charged locally in the 11th Judicial Circuit of Florida with child removal from state. On April 8, 2004, a Federal Grand Jury in Miami-Dade County, Florida, indicted Ahmed Elsafi for international parental kidnapping. That same day, a federal warrant was issued by the United States District Court, Southern District of Florida, for Elsafi's arrest.

Missing Post at Most Wanted Blog

There was an actual post here about a wanted fugitive, but since google can't really get their act together with their servers it's not here now.

I know it's a free service, but if it didn't benefit google to have these blogs here it wouldn't have these blogs here.

If you say you are going to provide a service you should make sure you can actually do so. Gmail was another great idea that isn't worth using anymore because it's slower than hotmail now.

Blogger.com was a great idea but it screws up the posts so often it's becoming not worth doing anymore either. Half the time you hit publish and the little icon goes round and round at 0% and never gets around to publishing the post. If you do not backup your post in a word document you will lose posts.

You'd think with all that money that google would make sure they had enough servers to handle the amount of traffic THEY decided they want to have.

They want to be number 1 but are unwilling to provide the service.

Google's search engine doesn't even produce relevant results anymore. All you get when you try to find something on the web these days is spammy little pages with google adnonsense on them. No content, just google ads.

They say this is against the google adnonsense TOS, but if they hired even 50 people to surf the web and delete accounts that violate the TOS in the way they do google could eliminate a large portion of them. at 10 sites per hour times 8 hours = 80 sites times 50 people = 4000 websites that are simply googlespam eliminated daily.

I know many are built each day, more than 4000, but it takes time to get those top 10 results google keeps giving them. By eliminating that many per day, google would be able to stop a lot of them before they get a PR10.

No wonder everything google has is still in beta.

Cross your fingers, pray, chant, threaten someone, do something hoping this post will actually appear on my blog in the next twenty minutes it will take for google's servers to get back to me.

CALGARY, Alberta, May 8 (UPI) -- Police in western Canada say an armed and dangerous U.S. fugitive was confirmed to be in the area, and could still be circulating.

The Royal Canadian Mounted Police issued a statement saying Richard Lee McNair was last seen April 28 in Penticton, British Columbia, by an RCMP officer who noticed the driver of a stolen truck matched the description of a man he saw on the TV show "America's Most Wanted."

The driver fled on foot, but fingerprints on the steering wheel confirmed it was McNair, the Calgary Sun reported.

McNair escaped prison in Louisiana April 13 by hiding under a pallet of bags in a mail truck. He was serving three life sentences for murder and attempted murder after he killed one of two men who stumbled upon him in the midst of a robbery in 1987.

U.S. authorities said they don't know why McNair headed for Canada but, are working closely with the RCMP to track him down.

"He's a real con man in every sense of the word," said spokesman Dave Sacks of the U.S. Marshals service.

Hawkins said, after it was over, Bowman wouldn't let her go to the hospital. She said he yanked out the phones, and she was too afraid to try to run for help.

Okay, if anyone knows where this punk is, call 911, get him picked up so he can room with Bubba. This guy doesn't deserve to be walking the streets free.

Okay, let's see. A trucker rapes a 13-year-old girl. The police in Leesburg fail to send in his DNA to the lab until AFTER the trial. Then the trucker tries to hire another convicted sex offender cellmate to kidnap and kill the 13-year-old girl. The cellmate decides to turn the trucker in to authorities. And the lawyer in the case has the nerve to ask the judge to consider Robinson's positive traits -- he had been an actively involved father of two teens, caretaker for his aging parents and a youth-basketball coach.

"We're asking for leniency," she said.

Yeah, we want this guy to continue being a good parent to his teenagers and especially want him to continue coaching youth basketball.

Californians never cease to amaze me and neither do lawyers.

Police said William Coley failed to register as a sex offender and violated his probation. Coley was arrested after a concerned citizen saw him on the sheriff's office Web site and turned him in.

Authorities are searching for one of the state's most wanted criminals after police say he kidnapped a woman early Sunday morning.

Travis Jerome Stewart has been featured on the Crimestoppers billboard for outstanding warrants, including Burglary and Assault and Battery with Intent to Kill. Now, he is also wanted for Kidnapping.

Authorities say he forcibly entered the home of a former girlfriend. Stewart is believed to have kidnapped Nikky Fleming, who officials think is the mother of his child. They say Stewart later contacted Fleming's family and returned her to them at an unknown location near the interstate. Fleming was unharmed.

Mexican authorities have detained a few men who matched the description of convicted murderer Richard Lee McNair, 47, who escaped from a federal prison in Louisiana earlier this month, Martinez said.

On the Island, the manhunt that started Wednesday and included various local law enforcement agencies had all but ended Friday with U.S. Marshals abandoning their command base at the municipal courthouse the day before.

“We’re still going to continue the escape investigation,” Martinez said, “meaning if we get any more reports from the public or any new intelligence from the Marshals Service or from local law enforcement agencies, we’re ready to move on a moment’s notice.”

McNair understands some Spanish, and investigators believe he could try to enter Mexico, if he’s not already there, Martinez said.

Police have issued a warrant for the arrest of one of the suspects, 17-year-old Kyle Arron Minerd of Uniontown.

Investigating officer Trooper Tim Knapp said the warrant, issued by Magisterial District Judge Wendy Dennis, charges Minerd with four counts of felony robbery, three counts of theft, three counts of criminal conspiracy to commit robbery, theft and recklessly endangering another person after he and the two other teens allegedly held four employees at the restaurant at gunpoint.

Suspected Child Molester Wanted - Arthur Leon Vitasek

January 2005 - Child reports being molested by Vitasek in Mesa, Arizona. Police are called.

2 days later - Vitasek and children disappear. An Amber Alert is issued. Children are returned but say they have been molested by Vitasek.

Vitasek is soon charged with around 30 counts of child abuse and molestation. They say he has been molesting boys for more than 16 years and that there are probably more victims that have not yet come forward.

Police believe the picture of Vitasek depicts his natural hair color.

His M.O.: Manipulates his way close to a family as a boyfriend of single moms, uncle, or friend. He helps pay bills and makes himself wanted and needed by the family of his victims, who in many cases are single moms.

He uses gifts and trips to amusement parks to gain the favor of his victims and to give him opportunities to molest them.

He convinces his young victims that the sexual contact between them is normal and even uses some of his victims to gain the trust of other children he can molest.

Vitasek tends to stay close to his victims for a long period of time.

He knows how to avoid the police who are after him. He used to work as a Skip Tracer tracking down people who owe money to collection agencies. He uses post office boxes and other methods to cover his trail.

Police suspect he has friends helping him and may be traveling under someone else's identity. The reason they suspect he has friends in several states helping him is that there have been so many false leads generated in different places.

Vitasek is a neat freak. He likes to dress and look sharp. His appearance is important to him. He may have died his hair and parted it differently since he knows the police are after him.

He's an experienced cook and mechanic, and may be working in the restaurant industry.

Police also learned that Vitasek avoids smoking and drinking and loves playing video poker. Police say that when he lived in Las Vegas, he often gambled at casinos, but preferred gambling at gas stations where he thought his odds were better.

Vitasek has expensive hobbies like scuba diving, and he may have taken flying lessons in order to gain a pilot's license. He also loves automobiles, particularly sports cars and classic cars. Police say he keeps his own vehicles in spotless condition.

In addition to Arizona and Las Vegas, Vitasek has also lived in Shreveport, La., Los Angeles, eastern Texas, Oklahoma and New York.

So these clues as to his habits may help you recognize Arthur Vitasek. If you see him, call 911 immediately. Do not approach him. People who know they are wanted by the law are sometimes very desperate and dangerous.

Report: Woman In Missing Child Case Jailed

DENVER -- The woman listed by police as a "person of interest" in the disappearance of an Aurora girl was in jail Monday on traffic-related charges, according to a story in The Denver Post.

Shelley Marie Lowe, 33, was booked into the Denver County Jail on March 7, the newspaper report. She was jailed after failing to appear in court on a traffic charge, according to the sheriff's office.

Lowe was living with Aaron Thompson in Aurora, Colo., when Aaron's daughter, Aarone, was reported missing last fall. Aurora police said the 6-year-old was murdered, and said she hadn't been seen for almost two years and wasn't enrolled in school. Lowe and Thompson maintain she ran away last November.

No one has been charged in the case and the Aurora police investigation was continuing. Both Lowe and Thompson are considered "persons of interest" in the case, according to police.

The jail sentence in Denver had nothing to do with Aarone's disappearance. The Post reported that Lowe has had several run-ins with authorities over traffic violations. She served 10 days in jail for previous cases in 2000.

U.S. Marshals Add Fugitive to 15 Most Wanted List

A sexual predator is on the run and U.S. Marshals believe his crimes are so heinous that they have earned him a spot on the Marshals’ 15 Most Wanted fugitive list.
Fugitive Frederick McLean, 55, is wanted on multiple counts of sexual assault on a child, but according to Deputy U.S. Marshal Tom Maranda, member of the U.S. Marshal-led San Diego Regional Fugitive Task Force, “multiple counts” is an understatement.

Maranda explained, one alleged victim, now an adult, reported McLean assaulted her more than 100 times, starting when she was 5 and ending about seven years later.

“Investigators believe McLean’s abusive acts against young victims span over a 20-year period,” said Maranda. “So it is imperative that predators like this be taken off the streets.”

An arrest warrant was issued January 20, 2005, for McLean, but authorities believe he sensed his days of freedom were numbered almost six months prior. In May 2004, family members confronted McLean regarding a young female victim’s allegations of molestation.

McLean admitted they were true, and the victim’s family decided to call Riverside County Sheriff’s Department. After the confrontation, McLean’s wife and children left him. Between May and September 2004, he began transferring financial assets to his wife and he signed divorce papers. In September 2004, McLean’s father-in-law woke up one morning to find McLean’s truck in his driveway. Inside the truck were McLean’s cell phone, letters for the family, and instructions on how to sell the vehicle. It was evident from his actions that he believed criminal charges against him were looming.

McLean is a 55-year-old white male who weighs 170 pounds and is 5 feet, 11 inches tall. He has brown hair and hazel eyes. He is an auto mechanic by trade and once owned a race-car restoration business, specializing in Lola chassis Can-Am racing cars from the 1960s and 1970s. McLean is also an experienced outdoorsman and may frequent camping areas.

Authorities caution citizens to consider McLean armed and dangerous, and possibly suicidal.

"Dangerous fugitives such as this are given the highest priority by the Marshals Service because of the potential to harm other innocent citizens while they remain at large," said Robert J. Finan II, head of the U.S. Marshals Investigative Services Division.

CLEVELAND -- A man who has claimed to be homeless and who was recently evicted from a shelter is tonight's "Fugitive of the Week."

The Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force says Stanley Gross may be using his claim of being homeless, to take advantage of family and friends.

Gross is wanted for violating his federal probation.

"He has an extensive criminal record, which basically involves thefts, receiving stolen property, insurance fraud, forgery and possession of drugs," said CMHA Police Chief Anthony Jackson.

Gross has been known to pop in and out of downtown homeless shelters but could be just about anywhere in the Cleveland area.

OMAHA, Neb. -- Police now know the name of a suspected bank robber, and they're hoping the public can help find him.

Police said that Albert Dansby robbed the 20th and Harney streets branch of Bank of the West on Dec. 30.

"A man walked in, presented a letter to the teller demanding money, then fled the scene in an unknown direction with an undetermined amount of cash," said Omaha police Officer Chris LeGrow.

Investigators believe the robber was Dansby. He's described as black, 51 years old, 6 feet 2 inches tall and 180 pounds. Police said he also has a history of drug charges.

This isn't the normal type of story we cover at Most Wanted Newspaper . com, however, I believe that these companies that are downloading programs to track people's activities, create more unwanted popups, crash people's computers, and cost people money and time in trying to remove it are criminals.

Even if our lawmakers are too backward to understand how things work on the Internet and have failed to address the issue or take it seriously, it's still wrong and in my opinion these programs are the same as someone sending a virus to your computer.

GAIN (Gator) and WinFixer are two of the worst I know of and have had to personally deal with. Both of these companies are no better than people who send viruses out on the web to infect people's computers. They are criminals in my opinion and now someone is trying to do something about it.

We've all seen it happen: you or someone you know has downloaded something from the internet that seemed harmless enough at the time. Next thing you know, the computer has slowed to a crawl. Pop-up advertising starts to appear out of nowhere. Private information gets sent to some company you've never heard of. And the worst part? Trying to uninstall the software might only make the problem worse.

Viruses and worms are no longer the biggest threat to computer users – now it's badware. Badware is a term we use to encompass the broad range of malicious software that is sneaking onto people's computers, including spyware and deceptive adware. Joe Ford, Special Agent in Charge of the San Francisco Office of the FBI, today announced that the FBI is offering a reward of up to $250,000 for information leading directly to the arrest of Daniel Andreas San Diego. Daniel San Diego is wanted for his alleged involvement in the bombings of two corporate offices in California. On August 28, 2003 the Chiron Corporation, located in Emeryville, was bombed twice. Then, on September 26, 2003 the Shaklee Corporation, located in Pleasanton, was bombed once.

The federal arrest warrant was issued in the Northern District of California on October 5, 2003 charging San Diego with maliciously damaging and destroying, and attempting to destroy and damage, by means of explosives.

San Diego has the following tattoos on his body: a round shape approximately five inches in diameter in the color of burning hillsides/plains in the center of his chest; and progressive scenes in black and white of destroyed/burned buildings on his left abdomen, a leafless tree in the center of his lower back, and burning yet still standing buildings on the right side of his lower back.

Judge Gives Child Molestor 60 Days in Jail

I don't normally do commentary on this blog, but in this case, I'm going to make an exception.

Claiming he no longer believes in punishment, a Vermont judge issued a 60-day sentence to a man who confessed to repeatedly raping a girl over a four-year period, beginning when she was 7 years old.

If you cannot perform as a judge because you do not believe in punishment, then get off the bench.

Judge Edward Cashman disagreed with prosecutors who thought Mark Hulett, 34, of Williston, Vt., deserved eight to 20 years in prison, reported WCAX-TV in Burlington, Vt.

Cashman said he's more concerned now about rehabilitation.

"The one message I want to get through is that anger doesn't solve anything. It just corrodes your soul," Cashman told a packed Burlington courtroom made up mostly of people related to the victim.

I would like to see this judge say that when this guy gets out and rapes his daughter.

Prior to the decision, Chittenden Deputy Prosecutor Nicole Andreson argued punishment "is a valid purpose."

"The state recognizes that the court may not agree or subscribe to that method of sentencing but the state does," she said, according to the Burlington TV station. "The state thinks that it is a very important factor for the court to consider."

Cashman said he wants to make sure Hulett gets sex-offender treatment.

Awww, how kind of him. This is a nation of laws. You break the law you get punished. That simple. If you sexually molest a child you deserve the harshest punishment we have to offer. The only help a child rapist needs is help being strapped into an electric chair and I'll volunteer for the job.

Under Department of Corrections classification, however, Hulett is considered a low-risk for re-offense, which means he doesn't qualify for in-prison treatment.

Cashman, therefore, issued a 60-day sentence and ordered Hulett to complete sex-offender treatment when he gets out or face a possible life sentence.

Yeah, possible as long as this isn't the judge he goes before next time for another slap on the wrist, if you can even call it that. I suggest a new law should be passed. If a judge does something like this, then the child molester rapes another child, the judge should have to go to jail with him. They can be cellmates.

The judge said that when he began 25 years ago, he handed down tough sentences but now believes "it accomplishes nothing of value."

"It doesn't make anything better; it costs us a lot of money; we create a lot of expectation, and we feed on anger," Cashman explained to the people in the court, WCAX reported.

Then retire if you no longer have the stomach for the job!

Members of the victim's family were outraged.

"I don't like it," the victim's mother told the TV station, in tears. "He should pay for what he did to my baby and stop it here. She's not even home with me and he can be home for all this time, and do what he did in my house."

Better than just sending them to jail, lock them in a room with volunteers from the community who do have the stomach for punishing child rapists. As far as I'm concerned, this is a good case for bringing back public stoning . . . for the judge.

World police body issues its most severe arrest warrant for Israeli criminal Yoram El-Al at U.S. request

The world police body Interpol has issued its most severe arrest warrant for Israeli criminal Yoram El-Al, Israel’s leading newspaper Yedioth Ahronoth reported on Thursday.

The warrant, known as “Red Notice,” was issued at the request of the U.S. after El-Al escaped from a Uruguayan prison, where he was awaiting extradition to the U.S. for drug and extortion offenses.

El-Al has long since been on Israel Police’s most wanted list; he is suspected of involvement in the attempted hit on local underworld kingpin Zeev Rosenstein some two years ago, during which three people lost their lives.

El-Al fled to the U.S. a short while after the botched assassination, where he became involved in various criminal activities and was forced to flee to Uruguay.

Two months ago he managed to escape a Uruguayan prison with the help of two locals impersonating police officers; the U.S. then turned to Interpol for assistance.

Now that the “Red Notice” warrant has been issued, it seems that it is only a matter of time before El-Al is picked up.

Gayle Marks Missing at America's Most Wanted Website

Some of you may have read my blog post at My Missing Children Blog, about Gayle Marks, the missing teen from Stockton and about how America's Most Wanted is just about entertainment. If you haven't read it, click here to read that post first.

Gayle's mother emailed them my post. I don't know if that convinced them or if her mother's relentless pursuit of justice in her daughter's case convinced them, but America's Most Wanted has finally posted Gayle's case on their website. Not on the tv show, but the website does receive a lot of traffic and hopefully, someone may have information about Gayle Marks and see her picture there.

Most Wanted: Benscoter Has 4 Felony Warrants

OMAHA, Neb. -- An Omaha man is on the run, and police hope the public can help track him down.

Ryan Benscoter is wanted on four felony warrants. "The latest is for theft by receiving," said Omaha Police Officer Chris LeGrow.

Police said Benscoter was seen in a stolen pickup, and when officers tried to stop him, he took off. Police followed, but had to call off the chase when Benscoter sped into a residential area.

"This is obviously someone who doesn't have a lot of regard for public safety. It's obviously somebody we want to get off the streets because we do have the regard for public safety," LeGrow said.

Benscoter, 23, is white, about 5 feet 8 inches tall and 180 pounds. He has a tattoo that looks like a gravestone on his left forearm.

Maurice Clarett Wanted for Armed Robbery

Maurice Clarett, who three years ago this week led Ohio State's football team to the national title, was sought yesterday by the police in Columbus, Ohio, as a suspect in an armed robbery.

A police spokesman, Michael Woods, said that felony warrants were issued for Clarett's arrest. The police have filed two counts of aggravated robbery related to an incident in an alley behind the Columbus nightclub Opium Lounge at 1:45 a.m. yesterday.

According to a police report, the club's owner, Tashona Corvi, identified Clarett as the person who displayed a .45-caliber handgun by raising his shirt and then took a black cellphone from a couple who were behind the club.

According to the police report, the victims said Clarett "was drunk and might be sick."

The police report said that after Clarett allegedly took the cellphone, Corvi went outside and Clarett "hugged her and began dragging her down the alley toward the vehicle he fled in."

Clarett was said to have left with two others in a white sport utility vehicle.

"We don't know where he is right now," Woods said. "He doesn't have a Columbus address. As with any warrant, especially a felony warrant, officers are out looking for him."

Clarett, 22, was considered one of the most talented players in college football when he was a freshman running back at Ohio State. But after he scored the game-winning touchdown in the 2002 national title game, the Fiesta Bowl against Miami, his career sputtered.

He was suspended for the 2003 season at Ohio State because of a variety of off-the-field problems, left the university and, in an effort to gain a quick entry into the National Football League, went to court in an unsuccessful attempt to invalidate league rules requiring that players wait until three years after high school to be eligible for the draft.

The Denver Broncos drafted him last April in the third round, then let him go in the first round of cuts, a rare move for such a high pick. Broncos Coach Mike Shanahan called the pick a mistake.

Clarett's agent, Steve Feldman, said in a telephone interview last night that Clarett had planned to sign with an N.F.L. team today, anticipating an assignment to play in N.F.L. Europe next summer. Feldman, who said he had not talked to Clarett since the incident yesterday morning, declined to name the N.F.L. team.

Feldman said that Clarett had been working out in Los Angeles but recently returned to Columbus. He said that Clarett was in good financial standing.

"The situation is not beneficial," Feldman said. "The allegation is not beneficial."

Feldman acknowledged that Clarett already faced a long road to return to the N.F.L. because of his off-the-field issues.

"But, it was a road he had the physical ability to travel," Feldman said. "Once again, at this point it was a question more of his personality than his ability. We were hoping and still hope we could send him to Europe and he could show he'd fit in socially and physically."

Clarett has not played in a game since that national title game in January 2003.

But he made headlines when he accused Ohio State and its boosters of arranging for him to receive cars, passing grades and money. None of the accusations were proved.

"His behavior has never been criminal," Feldman said. "He's made some foolish decisions and opened his mouth when he shouldn't have and stood up when it was wiser to let it go. But his behavior has never been criminal."

Clarett was, however, charged with misdemeanor falsification in 2003 in connection with filing a police report claiming that more than $10,000 in items and cash had been stolen from a car he had borrowed from a local dealer. He later pleaded guilty to a lesser charge.

Ohio State is now in Tempe, Ariz., preparing to play Notre Dame in the Fiesta Bowl tonight. Tempe was where Clarett reached the high point of his athletic career as he scored the winning touchdown in the second overtime when Ohio State stunned Miami, 31-24, for the national title. If Clarett had stayed at Ohio State, he would have been a senior this season.

"I don't know what happened; I feel bad about it," the Buckeyes senior free safety Nate Salley said in a telephone interview. "It's a sad situation."

Ohio State Coach Jim Tressel, who had a rocky relationship with Clarett, was in contact with him many times over the past few weeks as Clarett tried to get a job in N.F.L. Europe.

"Obviously, my reaction to that is it's sad because, as I said the last few times people have brought up the subject, my hope would be that he would have an opportunity to go over to N.F.L. Europe and make a comeback," Tressel said. "I hope it's not true."

Thom McDaniels, who coached Clarett at Warren G. Harding High School in Warren, Ohio, said, "I just hope it's a case of mistaken identity." Clarett's mother, Michelle, reached by phone, declined to comment.

Stanley Blair Hill Wanted for Murder

Two years after he is accused of murdering his wife at their Blount County residence, Stanley Blair Hill is on the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation's Most Wanted list.

Hill's name was added to the list on Dec. 21 after he disappeared from his parents' Jefferson County home a month earlier. Hill was scheduled for trial Dec. 13 in Blount County Circuit Court on a charge of first-degree murder in the death of his wife.

Thirty-two-year-old Vickie Hill was found hanging at the couple's residence on New Year's Day, 2004, dead as the result of an apparent suicide. However, Blount County Sheriff's Office investigators arrested Stanley Hill later that day and charged him with killing his wife, then staging the suicide.

Hill, an engineer, was free on a $100,000 bond while awaiting trial and, according to Blount County Circuit Court Judge Kelly Thomas, had reported to his probation officer in Blount County every other week until Dec. 5.

Hill had been living at his parents' home and working at a nearby Wal-Mart in Jefferson City.

Blair and Lois Hill filed a missing person report in Jefferson County, saying their son had gone to church with them Sunday morning, Nov. 20, but stayed home when they went back to church Sunday evening. A co-worker at Wal-Mart said he saw ``Stan'' Hill near the store around 7:30 p.m. Nov. 20 but that is apparently the last time his whereabouts are known.

His parents said they came home to find he had apparently left in a white Ford Ranger pickup truck. However, personal items such as his contact lenses, cell phone and shaving razor were still at the house.

Hill's parents secured his bond with their home as security. A conditional forfeiture of the bond has been issued, but further action is expected to be delayed while the search for Hill continues.

According to the information posted on the TBI Web site, Hill is 6 feet tall and weighs 175 pounds. He has brown hair and hazel eyes. He will mark his 40th birthday Sunday, Jan. 1.

He is wanted by the Blount County Sheriff's Office for failure to appear and for first-degree murder.

Chief Deputy Ron Dunn said Blount County detectives are staying in touch with authorities in Jefferson County who are handling the missing person investigation. He is hopeful putting Hill on the TBI Most Wanted list may provide leads to where ever he has gone.

No. 2 -- Melissa Porter

Melissa Porter, 36, is wanted on suspicion of two counts of robbery.

She is 5 feet 2 inches tall and weighs 200 pounds.

No. 3 -- Walter Richmond

Walter Richmond, 50, is wanted for a parole violation.

He was originally charged with rape.

Marshals said Richmond is also wanted for failure to register as a sex offender.

He is 6 feet tall and weighs 215 pounds.

No. 4 -- Ricky Newton

Ricky Newton, 28, is wanted for failure to surrender for service of sentence.

He was originally charged with distribution of cocaine.

Newton is also wanted on suspicion of carrying a concealed weapon.

Mom Wanted In Baby's Fatal Cold Medicine Case

A woman in Seminole County, Fla., charged with giving her 4-month-old daughter a fatal dose of cold medicine is now considered a fugitive, according to a Local 6 News report. Court records show that Leesa Simmons failed to appear in court.

Authorities said Simmons gave her daughter, Anya, the medicine Dimetapp hoping it would put her fussy baby to sleep. When the women checked on her a few hours later, Anya was not breathing. She died in October of 2003.

Simmons has been free on bail. Defense attorneys said they are hoping family members will persuade her to surrender.

Wanted Rapist Reynaldo Rapalo Escapes

MIAMI (AP) — A serial rape suspect who escaped from jail by climbing through a ceiling vent and rappelling down the side of the building on tied-together bed sheets appeared to have outside help and used tools that had been smuggled in, the city's police chief said Thursday.

"This is a conspiracy. This was hatched over about three months," Chief John Timoney said.

Reynaldo Rapalo, 34, and another inmate broke out of a Miami-Dade County jail Tuesday night by crawling through a vent in the ceiling of a sixth-floor cell, officials said. The vent was supposed to be locked, but its door had been pried off. And bars blocking the vent's opening to the roof were cut.

"He used certain tools you can't purchase from the prison commissary," Timoney said. He would not further describe the tools. There were also indications that someone was planning to meet Rapalo after he escaped, Timoney said. He would not elaborate.

Investigators will scrutinize any visitors Rapalo had, the police chief said.

Rapalo is accused of sexually assaulting seven girls and women in Miami's Little Havana neighborhood in 2002 and 2003. He had been awaiting trial in February, and could get life in prison if convicted.

The other inmate, who was also charged with sexual assault, was captured after he broke his legs when he jumped.

Officers searched neighborhoods, airports, train stations and ports for Rapalo, a native of Honduras, and guards were assigned to victims living in the area.

Residents said they were concerned and angry that Rapalo was on the loose again. He was the target of a major manhunt after attacks on girls and women ages 11 to 79. He was arrested in 2003.

Miami-Dade Police Director Robert Parker said Wednesday "there will be no stone unturned" in pursuit of Rapalo. Parker said Honduran officials pledged to help capture Rapalo if he returns there.

Wanted Fugitive Fabian Cayetano Urrea

MURRIETA ---- Tips continue to come in to Murrieta police regarding the whereabouts of accused murderer Fabian Cayetano Urrea after the TV show "America's Most Wanted" recently broadcast him as its No. 3 fugitive for 2005.

"None have panned out so far," Murrieta police Sgt. Jim Ganley said.

Urrea is being sought in connection with the June 9 shooting death of a soldier home on emergency leave from Iraq. The soldier ---- back in town to be with his wife who was having a baby ---- was shot three times in the parking lot of a Murrieta apartment complex.

On Dec. 17, John Walsh, host of the Fox TV show, announced his yearly Top Ten Fugitives, naming Urrea at No. 3. A short recap of the case was broadcast and Ganley said police have received about 25 tips so far from people who believe they may have seen Urrea.

"America's Most Wanted" first broadcast the search for Urrea in August and Murrieta police received about 40 tips after that more in-depth episode, Ganley said.

None of the 65 tips have been in the area where police think Urrea might be ---- in Imperial County near the U.S.-Mexico border, according to the sergeant.

Tips from "America's Most Wanted" followers have come from as far away as Canada, Ganley said, with many others emanating from Arizona and Nevada.

Urrea, 19, remains a fugitive from justice since he disappeared after the slaying of California Army National Guard Spc. Jorge Estrada.

Estrada, 24, was in Murrieta on emergency leave from active duty in Iraq so he could be with his 20-year-old wife, Diana, when she gave birth.

Urrea, who was living in Mead Valley at the time, is the biological father of the baby girl who was born to Diana three days before Estrada's murder, police say. Urrea is also the estranged boyfriend of Diana Estrada.

Urrea came to the Estradas' Murrieta apartment early June 9 and, while in the parking lot, had an argument over custody of the baby, investigators say. Urrea suddenly pulled a 9mm semiautomatic handgun from his waistband and shot Jorge Estrada three times in the upper body.

Diana Estrada was standing next to her husband, holding the newborn baby, when the shots rang out. Urrea then sped away in his pickup truck, which was recovered several days later in Hemet.

A relative told police she drove Urrea to the Mexican border.

Greg Klein, creative producer of "America's Most Wanted," said Wednesday that Urrea became the show's No. 3 fugitive because Walsh and producers felt there was both a seriousness and timeliness to what happened.

"There is a relevancy to what is going on in Iraq right now," Klein said from his Washington, D.C., office.

"This was a story John (Walsh) knows very well ... and he is a big supporter of the troops," Klein said, adding that Walsh personally felt a closeness to Estrada's story.

"This really is such a senseless murder," Klein said. "Here's a guy fighting for his country and what he believes in and he's killed in a (Murrieta) parking lot.

"Plus he was willing to raise a child that wasn't his own," Klein added. "There was a lot we could focus on about Jorge and we don't always have the chance to do that."

The search for Urrea was selected for the show's Top Ten Fugitives from a couple of hundred cases broadcast this year.

The only two fugitives ranked higher than Urrea were a man sought for a triple murder in Dallas who fired an assault rifle at four men in plain sight of police and the show's most wanted fugitive ---- a former police officer and accused child molester in South Carolina who authorities say shot and killed his wife.

Ganley said he's just happy that "America's Most Wanted" is taking the Urrea case seriously and keeping it in the public eye.

"The kid needs to be caught," Ganley said. "He's a cold-blooded killer."

Although none of the tips generated from the television show have helped police locate Urrea, they are still important to the investigation, the detective sergeant said.

"Right now, we're at a standstill anyway so anything we get is worth checking out," Ganley said.

Murrieta detectives, led by Jeff Ullrich who is heading up the search for Urrea, have contacted about 10 law enforcement agencies as far away as Florida to assist in following up on some of the tips.

"The tips give a percentage for the person to say how sure they are that it was (the fugitive)," Ganley said. "Some were less than 50 percent so we typically won't follow up on those.

"But some listed the level of certainty at 90 to 100 percent and we definitely felt we need to check those out," he added.

There are, of course, some that are "out there" in the level of probability.

"We've had some weird ones come in," Ganley said, such as Urrea being seen in a strip club in Canada or from psychics who only said they had visions he was in a particular state.

While tips such as those are highly unlikely to produce results, police continue to welcome any and all tips they may receive.

"We can't catch him without the public's help at this point," Ganley said.

So police ask that anyone with information about Urrea or his whereabouts contact them at (951) 696-3615 and ask for Detective Jeff Ullrich.

The "worst of the worst," as ICE spokesman Marc Raimondi puts it, are posted on the agency's list of the 10 most-wanted fugitive immigrants, eight of whom are wanted in connection with sexual acts involving children and, in most cases, other offences.

Collectively, they represent a diverse geographic background. Four are from Mexico, the others are from China, India, Bulgaria, Jamaica and Portugal.

Of the 1.2 million illegal immigrants apprehended nationwide while entering the United States over the past year, fingerprint checks revealed that more than 26,000 were linked to major crimes, Border Patrol officials say.

Many of the fugitives had already been convicted and served time while others were being sought on outstanding charges. From Nov. 25 to Dec. 1, border patrol agents arrested eight illegal immigrants charged with homicide, said Mario Villarreal, Washington spokesman for US Customs and Border Protection, a branch of the Department of Homeland Security.

New York's most wanted fugitive

NEW YORK -- The city's most wanted fugitive has a taste for Guinness beer. He's also a fast talker who rolls his own cigarettes.

When eating Chinese, he goes for the beef curry. With extra mustard.

The personal habits and tastes of Peter Braunstein, the urbane and illusive suspect in a bizarre assault on Halloween night, were detailed Friday in a new wanted poster distributed by police.

Investigators want to question Braunstein, 42, in an episode in which a woman was molested for 13 hours at gunpoint by a man who bluffed his way into her apartment by posing as a firefighter coming to her rescue. The former fashion writer has managed to avoid capture for six weeks, despite a $12,000 reward and a tabloid fixation with his exploits.

Police believe Braunstein knew the woman and had an obsession with her. When he emerged as a suspect, people who knew him began telling both reporters and police that he was a brilliant talent with a sadistic streak toward women.

Initially, there were signs the fugitive was staying close to home: Security cameras captured images of him at a motel in midtown Manhattan. Recent reports have suggested he may have since fled to the Midwest.

The wanted poster offers the typical grainy mug shot and descriptive fodder -- height 1.8 meters, weight 67.5 kilograms, aliases (Peter Brown, Peter Grant) and date of birth (Jan. 26, 1964). What's unusual is its laundry list of all things Braunstein, including his favorite Chinese dish: "Beef w/curry w/extra mustard."

It also notes the suspect is "known to drink Guinness and vodka," speaks fluent French and frequents strip clubs. Because he doesn't drive, he relies on chauffeured cars.

The poster says he likes to follow women around, then write about them in a journal. It also suggests he's been staying at motels and paying cash, and using prepaid cellular phones.

Braunstein, it concludes, "is highly intelligent and 'talks a good talk,' but should be considered DANGEROUS." (AP)

More criminals crossing border

WASHINGTON -- After illegally crossing the U.S.-Mexican border near Laredo almost six years ago, Juan Carlos Almanza-Castillo made his way north, eventually landing a job as a ranch hand in Central Texas, about 50 miles up Interstate 35 from Austin.

He lived a simple lifestyle, under the radar of the law, until Bell County authorities began investigating him this year for an alleged sexual assault on a minor. The investigation turned up another detail: Almanza-Castillo was a former Mexican police officer wanted in the slaying of a relative in northern Mexico.

The fugitive, who was deported this month, is part of what U.S. authorities say is a menacing subset of the nearly 11 million immigrants who have entered the United States in the past two decades.

While most come in search of better jobs and higher wages, a large and growing number are on the run from the law, often on both sides of the border. Thousands of criminals flee to the United States to escape apprehension back home and some commit more crimes while dodging the law in this country, officials say.

The job of pursuing such immigrants falls to another Homeland Security agency, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, or ICE, the nation's second-largest federal investigative arm after the FBI. ICE agents are hunting more than 450,000 immigrants who fled U.S. deportation orders, including at least 80,000 wanted for criminal offenses ranging from petty theft to murder.

The "worst of the worst," as ICE spokesman Marc Raimondi puts it, are posted on the agency's list of the 10 most-wanted fugitive immigrants, eight of whom are wanted in connection with sexual acts involving children and, in most cases, other offenses. Collectively, they represent a diverse geographic background. Four are from Mexico; the others are from China, India, Bulgaria, Jamaica and Portugal.

Ignacio Sevilla-Botello entered the United States through Southern California in 1985 and held a legal visa to work in agriculture before being sentenced to three years in prison for committing lewd acts on a child. He was ordered deported after serving his sentence but jumped a $2,500 bond by failing to show up at a hearing. He has been on the loose since 1997.

Recep Ahmedoff of Bulgaria is being sought on charges of manslaughter and criminal possession of a weapon. Calvin Anthony Inswood, the Jamaican, made the list for charges that included assault and weapon offenses, as well as trespassing and disorderly conduct.

More than 4.5 million people have been arrested trying to enter the United States illegally since President Bush took office in January 2001. Of that number, 350,000 had criminal records, says the administration.

The increase in immigrant criminals is fueling demands for toughened border enforcement as the House prepares to debate an immigration bill this week. The bill, by House Judiciary Chairman James Sensenbrenner, R-Wis., toughens requirements on employers and includes a crackdown on immigrant gang members.

Immigrant advocacy groups fear that the get-tough talk against immigrant criminals undercuts efforts to seek more humane treatment for the millions of other illegal immigrants who have raised families, paid taxes and contributed to the U.S. economy.

"Most people have come here just for work," said Saul Soto, administrator of the Border Network for Human Rights, based in El Paso. Soto says lawmakers are focusing on the dark side as a pretext to deport all undocumented residents. Many illegal immigrants are victims themselves, he says, subject to abuse by smugglers or unscrupulous employers.

Top officials from Bush on down say misguided polices have helped immigrant criminals broaden their foothold in U.S. society. Much of the blame falls on a now-discredited "catch-and-release" policy under which apprehended immigrants were often released pending a hearing because of inadequate detention space. Many never showed up for their hearings.

Bush and Homeland Security chief Michael Chertoff have changed the focus to "catch-and-return" by increasing detention facilities, adding more agents and streamlining deportation procedures. In outlining his immigration initiative in a speech this month in Tucson, Ariz., the president said "murderers, rapists, child molesters and other violent criminals" have slipped through the cracks.

Critics of the catch-and-release policy say it sent a message to trouble-makers in foreign countries that they could cheat the system in the United States. "The word on the street is get past the border and you're home free," said Rep. Lamar Smith, R-San Antonio, former chairman of the House Immigration Subcommittee.

One fearsome trend is the spread of notorious gangs such as the Mara Salvatrucha, or MS-13, whose members are known for hacking their enemies with machetes. ICE agents in El Paso recently deported an 18-year-old Mexican gang member known as El Chocolate after he was convicted Nov. 8 on a weapons charge in Illinois.

The fugitive, Jorge Delgado Fernandez, was believed to be a member of the Nortenos 14, a violent gang based in Northern California. Fernandez was deported last year but re-entered the United States illegally, said ICE officials. He was wanted in Mexico after allegedly shooting a man at a party.

ICE has 17 seven-member teams deployed to seek out fugitive immigrants, with plans to expand to 44 teams by September. Bush and Chertoff want to increase the number to 100.

The National Fugitive Operations Program started in March 2003, charged with apprehending immigrant "absconders" who disappeared instead of complying with deportation orders issued by an immigration judge. ICE officials assigned the highest priority to those convicted or accused of crimes.

Of the 32,625 absconders caught since the program started, nearly half -- 15,338 -- were immigrant criminals, according to ICE officials. The biggest number, 5,300, were involved in drug offenses.

"It's growing and we're trying to keep up with it," said Chuck Ziethen, deputy assistant director of the fugitive operations program. "We're just concerned about the growing numbers and we're doing everything we can to curb that increase."

Philadelphia's Most Wanted Fugitives

Philadelphia police updated their 10-most-wanted list of crime suspects yesterday, adding three names to the list in a program that has yielded about 60 arrests in 15 months.

Police Capt. Charles Bloom of the department's Criminal Intelligence Division said the three newest suspects were Richard Jarmon, charged with murder; Phillepe Bibbs, accused of aggravated assault; and Lawrence Davis, sought on robbery charges.

Bloom asked that people call the police tip line at 215-683-9268 (215-683-WANT) if they see any of the suspects. He urged that people not approach the suspects because they are considered dangerous.

Bloom said that those who call the tip line would not have to testify against any of the suspects because arrest warrants had already been issued for them. He said the suspects are all believed to be in the Philadelphia area.

Bloom said Jarmon was the most-wanted person on the list. Jarmon is sought in the shooting death of a 22-year-old man at 27 E. Meehan Ave. in the city's Germantown section about 12:45 May 23.

Jarmon is also sought in the fatal shooting of a 28-year-old man, who witnessed the first shooting, in the 6400 block of Musgrave Street in Germantown on May 29, Bloom said.

Bibbs is accused of shooting two people in June. One was shot in the 2100 block of North Judson Street in North Philadelphia; the other was in the 2000 block of North Judson Street, Bloom said.

Davis is sought along with two others in the April 27 gunpoint robbery of a nail salon and its customers in the 7200 block of Frankford Avenue, Bloom said.

A car that belonged to Davis was found near the robbery scene with a flat tire, and items from the robbery were found in the vehicle, police said.

The department's most-wanted program has been highly successful in capturing suspects since it began in September 2004, averaging three captures a month, Bloom said.

In the most-wanted program, city police officers work with the U.S. Marshals Service and the FBI.

¢100m reward for Ghana's most wanted

The Police Administration is offering a total of a ¢100 million for information leading to the arrest of five criminals believed to have been involved in a series of robbery cases in the country.

The administration has declared the five men Ghana’s most wanted criminals.

A statement signed by ASP Kwesi Ofori of the Public Relations Directorate, named them as Razaak; Bawah; Abu Doggie; Sheriff and Wiper.

Additionally officers who exhibit professionalism in arresting the named criminals will be given a special reward."

All five suspects are said to be hiding in different parts of the capital.

Whiles Razaak is believed to be hiding at the Kokomba Market in Accra, Bawa and Abu Doggie are said to be at Madina, with Sheriff and Wiper hiding at Bukom in Accra.

Idaho Wanted Fugitive: Yazzie Billie Plentywounds

Boise November 9th, 2005. According to the U.S. Marshals Office in Boise, Yazzie Billie Plentywounds (aka "Kevin") is known to frequent the Nampa and Ft. Hall areas. An arrest warrant charges Plentywounds with violation of his federal probation. Anyone who may know where to find Yazzie Billie Plentywounds is urged to contact Crime Stoppers at 343-COPS.

Suspect Description: Plentywounds is 24 years old, 6' 01", 175 pounds, native American with black hair and brown eyes. He has several tattoos on his arms and back, including "native" and "pride" on his right and left forearm. He may be driving an older model brown sedan.

Police in southern Idaho are on the lookout for a federal fugitive they say is armed and dangerous and may be spending time in nearby Fort Hall. According to the U-S Marshal's Office in Boise, Yazzie Billie Plentywounds - who is also known as Kevin - is wanted for allegedly violating his probation.

He's spent time behind bars after being arrested on weapons, burglary, and federal firearms charges. Plentywounds, who has tattoos on his arms and back, including the words "Native" and "Pride," spends time in Nampa and Fort Hall, on the Fort Hall Indian Reservation.

Wanted Fugitive: Gregory Fowler

Gregory Fowler is a wanted fugitive by Deputies with the US Marshals office out of Northern Kentucky for failing to report to his probation officer since October.

Fowler served six years in a federal prison for dealing ecstasy but prior to that he was a Navy Seal.

"He was a Navy Seal commando for 10 years in the military until he got charged with the drug charge. The subject is trained in martial arts, explosives, any kind of military expertise, this gentleman has," says Tony Overstreet.

Upon his release from a federal prison in Virginia, Fowler moved back to the Florence area. Deputies say during his time behind bars, his cellmate convinced him to join a religious cult.

"He's been self proclaimed as a Bible prophecy preacher and so we don't know if he's absconded and is preaching on the streets or went back to the drugs," says Overstreet.

Deputies believe his military background is helping him hide.

"With military experience he has they are taught to evade capture improvise to their new conditions and seek out what they can do to hide and change identity and Mr Fowler is also affluent with Spanish," says Overstreet.

Wanted in Boston: College-age male in Brandeis invasions

WALTHAM -- Police said they are looking for a "college-age" white man who stumbled into four bedrooms in two dormitories at Brandeis University early Saturday morning, scaring the women who live there and assaulting one.

The man is about 5-feet-8-inches tall and weighs between 150 and 160 pounds, Waltham Detective Lt. Brian Navin said. He said the man, who has brown hair that is grown over his ears, was wearing a green jacket. In one instance, the suspect was wearing a baseball hat, university spokesman Dennis Nealon said. "The descriptions seem to be similar," he said.

He said no sexual assaults have been reported in the incident, but one of the women was grabbed and punched in the face repeatedly. The victim, Charlotte Benham, told The Justice, one of the university’s student newspapers, she was reading in bed in her room in the Village, when the man came in, carefully shut the door, grabbed her around the waist and punched her.

Benham said she kicked the suspect in the stomach and tried to push him away. The man then dropped her and ran. She was taken to Newton-Wellesley Hospital where she was treated for minor facial injuries. Navin said police are sure the same man wandered into the four, unlocked bedrooms between about 2 and 4 a.m. Several students on campus yesterday did not want to be identified, but said no one ever locks their bedroom doors, unless they are out.

In the first unlawful entry, the man encountered a woman who was still awake in her room in Shapiro Hall. He quickly turned and walked out of the room, according to Nealon. In the other two instances, the man walked in on two sleeping women and touched their legs until they awoke.

Nealon said he believes the suspect was able to get into the buildings by coming in right behind someone who lives there. "You go up to any college dorm and try hard enough, you can get in," said Navin. "You just have to act like you belong."

The incident remains under investigation, according to Nealon.

Police name teenager wanted in gang slaying

AURORA -- Aurora police are seeking the public's help in apprehending a 16-year-old alleged gang member charged with murder last week.

Chavez Keith Saulsberry of the 800 block of Taylor Avenue is wanted on two counts of first-degree murder in the Nov. 4 shooting death of Montrell C. Fluellen, 21. Under Illinois law, a defendant 15 or older is automatically charged as an adult in murders and other serious felonies. Saulsberry chased Fluellen between some homes in the 500 block of Plum Street near where Fluellen lived, police said in a release Tuesday.

Saulsberry fired a handgun numerous times at Fluellen, striking him several times, police said. Police are asking anyone with information to call them at 630-801-6662, or Aurora Area Crime Stoppers at 630-892-1000.

One of San Francisco's 10 most wanted fugitives captured

DALY CITY, Calif. One of San Francisco's 10 most wanted fugitives has been captured.

The U-S Marshals Service arrested Eduardo Naval on Monday at a home in Daly City. He had evaded capture by police since April 2004 when a judge issued a $500,000 warrant for his arrest. Naval is accused of sexual abuse of a 13-year-old girl, assault with a deadly weapon and threatening a witness. Police said the alleged abuse took place last April. When the girl's mother confronted Naval, authorities said, he threatened to kill the woman's family if she told police.

4th most wanted kidnap suspect falls

Police arrested last week the fourth most wanted kidnapper in the country, whom authorities also tagged as another suspect in the kidnap-slay of Coca-Cola executive Betty Chua Sy, when they chanced upon him at a Quezon City mall.

During the verification of intelligence reports, anti-kidnapping agents said Cesar Amado, 43, turned out to be one of the leaders of the notorious Waray-waray Gang who carries P1 million bounty for his neutralization.

Deputy Director General Oscar Calderon, chief of the Police Anti-Crime and Emergency Response (PACER), said his men chanced upon Amado at the vicinity of Robinson’s Mall, Fairview Branch, at around 7 p.m. on November 23 following a confirmation of a tip-off that he was hiding somewhere in Quezon City.

Armed with the arrest warrant issued by a Quezon City court for a charge of kidnap-for-ransom, PACER agents arrested Amado while roaming around the mall.

Calderon said the review of old police files on kidnapping cases also revealed that Amado was among those who planned and executed the abduction of Chua Sy in November 17, 2003 in La Loma, Q.C.

It was recalled that the body of Sy was discovered stuffed inside a garbage bag, which was dumped along Macapagal Avenue in Parañaque City the following day.

The arrest of some of the suspects on the incident revealed that Sy died of blood loss from a gunshot wound inflicted by one of her abductors to prevent her from struggling as she was being abducted.

The incident raises a howl from the business community, prompting the government to intensify its anti-kidnapping drive, which eventually yielded positive results as it led to the arrest and neutralization of some KFR leaders and members.

Amado, a native of Jaro, Leyte, was also tagged as involved in at least 11 kidnapping cases in Metro Manila and nearby provinces wherein most of the victims were wealthy Filipino-Chinese businessmen and their kin.

U.S. Most Wanted in Dublin

One of America’s most wanted men appeared in the High Court in Dublin on Tuesday.
Frederick Russell, who is wanted by police in connection with the deaths of three students killed in a hit and run incident, is attempting to block his extradition to the U.S.

Russell fled Washington ahead of his trial on three counts each of Vehicular Homicide and Vehicular Assault in October 2001.

According to police, on the night of June 4, 2001, Russell and a friend were seen drinking at a local bar in Pullman, Washington. Russell, who was then a junior at Washington State University, got into his car and was heading towards Moscow, Idaho when he came upon a slower moving vehicle in front of him.

Although he was in a no passing zone, Fred illegally passed this vehicle, sideswiped another westbound vehicle, then struck a Cadillac carrying seven college students. Brandon Clements, Ryan Sorensen, Stacy Morrow were killed on impact. Matt Wagner and three other students were critically injured but survived.

Russell was arrested but later failed to show for a mandatory court appearance on October 26, 2001.

It is claimed that he later wrote to his parents saying that he was fleeing to spare his family the pain “of his murders” and that he was “going to a state that could not hurt me.”

Russell was arrested by Gardai earlier this year while working as a security guard at a clothes shop in Dublin city center. It is understood the U.S. Marshals Service had received a tip-off that he was living and working in the Dublin area after his name was put on the 15 Most Wanted list.

He had been living in Celbridge in Co. Kildare with his long-term girlfriend, Hazel McNaboe.

No date has been set for the full extradition hearing but lawyers are confident the matter will proceed in the week before Christmas or early in the New Year.

Russell was remanded in custody to appear in the High Court again in three weeks.

Hurley at Number 2 in Most Wanted rankings

Escaped convict is high on website hit list

The face of a police killer from Luton, who has been on the run for nearly 12 years, is on an internet list of Britain's most dangerous criminals.

Murderer and armed robber James Hurley, 44, a former Ashcroft High School pupil, is at number two on an FBI-style Most Wanted website.

The fugitive, who lived at Telscombe Way on the Wigmore estate, has been on the loose since he attacked a warder while being transferred between prisons in February 1994.

Hurley had been jailed for life in 1989 for the murder of 27-year-old off-duty policeman Frank Mason during an armed raid on a security van outside a bank.

On the tenth anniversary of his escape, police offered a reward of up to £10,000 for information leading to his arrest and re-imprisonment.

Now Hurley's picture and details appear alongside other violent criminals in a modern version of the Wild West's 'Wanted' posters.

The website, launched on Friday by the Crimestoppers charity, allows police to appeal online to the public for information about people they are hunting.

The site – http://mostwanted-uk.org – carries photographs, CCTV footage and descriptions of suspects.

Detectives believe Hurley may be living in the Republic of Ireland, although over the years there have been unconfirmed sightings in South Africa, Spain and Belgium.

Most Wanted Newspaper's History

In 1998, Chris McElroy and Chuck Crawford founded and published a newspaper called Most Wanted. The newspaper was successful. Readers called in tips that led to the capture of several wanted fugitives. Advertising sold well.

The newspaper led the two into actually getting involved in the search for missing children and founded the Kidsearch Network, a nonprofit organization. The newspaper, was placed under the new organization and they continued to publish the paper.

Unfortunately, the nonprofit organization had severe financial trouble after 9-11. All donations that had previously helped the charity continue were now going to help victims of the terrorist attack. Kidsearch had to close it's doors along with the newspaper as well.

In the time that Kidsearch was running, the Most Wanted/Kidsearch Network crew helped recover more than 70 missing and abducted children.

After three years of being closed, Chris McElroy is now re-establishing the Kidsearch Network and operating from Miami, FL. He also plans to bring Most Wanted Newspaper back into production as soon as possible. In the meantime, this blog at http://www.mostwantednewspaper.com will be it's home.
